From the A39 turn off to Watchet on to B3190 at the roundabout by Tropiquaria Park. Continue heading North for 1 mile to join the B3191 Brendon Road. Continue on the B3191 towards Watchet and after about 0.7 miles turn left over the railway bridge into Swain Street sign posted to the Town Centre and Harbour. At the bottom of Swain Street follow the B3191 road round to your left into Market Street passing the Museum. Carry on a couple of 100 yards up this road passing The Spice Merchant Indian Restaurant on your left. You are now in West Street.
Here the road starts to climb and narrows to single track, slow down and watch out for the a small private road by a telephone pole coming up immediately on your left hand side after the first terrace of houses, it is directly opposite the entrance to West Beach on your right. If you turn into the private road you can unload next to the side gate of the cottage. Please unload your bags into the cottage and then move your car and park it on the private driveway directly in front of the green garage doors. Do not leave your car in the private road as parking here is prohibited. Extra vehicles may use nearby free on street parking if available further on up West Street or in Greenway road just up on the right. Alternative car parking is available in the many Council Car Parks in Watchet, the nearest of which is by the sea wall just opposite The Spice Merchants Restaurant on West Street.
